About Us

It is amazing what we can accomplish when hearts and minds work together. Rotary Clubs consist of members of different backgrounds who come together volunteering and taking action to make a difference in our local communities and around the world through projects which support education, fight disease, promote peace, provide clean water protect the environment and much more.

Our vision is a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change.

We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Sutton Bowling Club in Sutton, between 6.30 – 9.00pm and on the 4th Tuesday we have a Social meeting at different locations, usually it is “a pint down the pub”, starting at 6.30pm onwards. A group of Friends of Rotary meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month at Yourspace Sutton for a morning coffee.

We have some different membership options. Full Members receive full benefits of being a Rotarian. If you think you would like to join as a Full Member, but would like to try it out for a short time first, we can also offer Associate Membership at a reduced rate.

If you cannot commit to join in regularly, you can become a Friend of Rotary – you can provide some support for some of our activities, or attend fundraising events from time to time. Being a Friend of Cheam & Sutton Rotary is free of charge. Friends are kept in touch through our monthly Friends Newsletter.

Having more Members and Friends means we can help more people in need. We help many local charities, including Home Start, Sutton Women’s Centre, Sutton Mental Health Foundation, Macular Society, MERU, Royal Marsden Cancer charities, Sutton Young Carers and many others.

We are working with local groups such as Sutton Council, Sutton Lodge, St Dunstan’s, Yourspace Sutton, EcoLocal, Green Sutton Network, Scouts & Guides Groups etc.

Yes, we welcome people to join in with us!
