This project was created by cutting out four cardboard squares, and gluing them together in groups of two, in order to have 2 rectangles of very thick cardoard. I then rounded out one end of each of the carboard peices, as well as cutting rectangles out of opposite sides, in order to push them together and create the base of the stool, that has a x pattern on the top. Next I made the seat part of the tippy stool by cutting 2 squares out of cardboard, gluing them together, and rounding the corners, as well as cutting an x shapted hole through one of the layers, to snugly fit the base into the seat. Finally, I glued everything together, and sealed the edges with water activated tape, in order to reinforces all of the edges and corners. This rocking perch can be used for children who require more sensory input, to sit on and receive the input that is needed. It can be adapted to many different needs of children depending on how much they need the stool to tip.
