Foot Rest

This is a food rest that I created by using a handsaw to cut precise rectangles out of thick cardboard, as well as making internal supports. I spent time making sure my measurements were accurate, and took my time cutting each individual peice, making sure I was cutting in the right direction of the grain. Once all of the peices were cut, I glued all of the sides together, put the internal supports in, and added wooden screws to reinforce the structure. I then used water activated tape to seal the sides, added primer, and painted the foot rest a solid white color. Once the paint was dry, I added a layer of polyurethane to make the foot rest fully waterproof. This footrest can be used to help someone elevate their feet when needed, or be used as a step stole when an individual may need help reaching something.
