Prone Standing Frame (model)

This prone standing frame (model) was created by measuring four 10 by 11 rectangles, gluing them together in pairs (to make 2 very structured walled), cutting an angle off of one of the sides to allow an individual to rest on it, measuring and bending a piece of cardboard over the top of the walls and securing the new piece with hot glue and wooden screws, cutting out holes for straps  and finally cutting a base out, and chiseling a divot for the structured piece to be able to sit into the base. Once the structure of the frame was complete, I reinforced all of the free edges with water activated tape to allow optimum security for the frame. This frame can be used by individuals who struggle to stand up o ntheir own, so they can put their feet into the foot hole, and use straps to secure their legs to the base, allowing them to stand at a prone standing position. This exact model can not be used, becuase it is a smaller model of a prone standing frame.
