Artifact 1
The artifact below should be the framework for all teachers when creating the best learning environment possible for their classroom. The poster has four main essentials for maintaining a positive learning environment. These essentials will allow students to stay engaged In each lesson. Also, It Is vital that students are behaved In class. Rule number one was established In each class. I had one of my World History classes that needed the daily expectations recited before each class. This really helped keep the class focused and ready to learn. This artifact connects with many of the aspects of the learning standard. The connections to the standards that stand out are positive social interaction, mutual respect, and active engagement.
Artifact 2
The document below was assigned to the students at the start of the semester. This assignment helped the students figure out their learning styles. On the flip side, competent teachers strive to learn all that they can about the learning style of each student. This document helped each student set a goal for themselves to strive to integrate all of the modalities into their learning process. This artifact allows students to become self-motivated and set personal goals. After completed, I looked at what my students scored. I then modified lessons that were geared toward the learning styles of each student. My goal was to enhance the skills of the students In the styles that they strayed away from. This In turn helped them become more well rounded as a student.
