General Background (some details shift for verse, or individual interactions as needed.)
From one of the most affluent families on the island, if not the most affluent family. Has always had 'something' off about him, but his family chose to ignore it, simply placating him more often than not. Can be very charming, and convincing, but does not have deep emotions, unless in a moment of delulu. (He does experience bouts of rage, and intense grief/panic when in intense situations.)
Rafe exists on the ASPD, or is what was formerly known as a psychopath. Throughout his life, he has had to mask, and learn how to mimic the emotions of those around him. He feels very little, but this does not mean he feels nothing at all. His emotions simply don't look the way a typical-brained person's would. He can experience his own form of 'love' but it is not typical and often does not last. He is not someone who is going to chase- Often growing bored of the people around him.
Because he has had to mask his whole life, he is very good at portraying the expected emotions of those around him. He is extremely charismatic and often knows exactly what to say. He studies the people around him to find weak spots, and points of 'entry' to get himself close in case he finds that he needs to use them for something. (I will have more but w/e here is this)

Headcanons:
Being that he is emotionally intelligent, he does understand just how different he is from those around him. More often than not, he views strong emotions/crying, etc as inconvenient. When he sees people around him experiencing bouts of joy, he finds it both annoying, and wishes that he knew what it felt like. Even if his emotions are warped and muted, doesn't mean he doesn't wish he could feel things like 'normal'. It is hard not fitting in, even if you're really the only one who knows you don't.
