General Background (some details shift for verse, or individual interactions as needed.)

Emma is a social media model, influencer, and occasional actress. Forever pining for her parents' approval, though she won't outright say that.
Her father is a plastic surgeon, and her mother works for a modeling agency. They are both very successful in their fields.  When Emma was very young (12/13) he began telling her all the procedures he’d do to fix her features/body so that she would be beautiful, while her mother signed her up for countless gigs. Emma developed an eating disorder before she got out of middle school, and has some extreme body/face image issues. These last throughout her life, though she does eventually learn to accept herself after a lot of counseling and therapy.
Both of her parents were pretty absent emotionally.
She was raised that reputation matters more than how you feel, or what you want, and, to that she gives credit for her success. On the internet, she’s very well put together, and she has an adoring fan base because of it. They love that she can be snarky and that she stands up for herself.
Emma is always someone who fits in and is on the more popular side. She is definitely prom queen material. She isn’t usually going out of her way to be mean to anyone, but she has her moments of being vapid, and vain. When she is friends with someone, she’ll go to bat for them, but it’s very rare for anyone to know what her home life is like. Typically she has one or two friends that know, and more often than not it’s just because they grew up together. She doesn’t talk about her eating disorder until she’s older, so typically no one knows. If she gets close enough to someone they may notice her skipping meals, or not eating a lot, alongside always excusing herself to go to the restroom after meals.

 Beneath her persona, however, is still that sad little girl who just wants to be loved. Unfortunately, she isn’t sure how to accept or give genuine love without instantly wanting to run for the hills
