Verses:
Pete Castiglione:
This verse takes place after everything. Frank has moved on from his life at war, even though there’s still always one in the dark parts of his mind. This verse is based on/inspired by Sweet Virginia, another movie Jon was in.
Frank finds himself wandering a long road, long after his truck runs out of fuel. With no more war to be fought, he’s just existing.
He walked so long, TV static in his mind, a numb nothingness filled his being. An older woman (Margie/Margaret) pulled over to help him, and with much convincing (Frank knew she wasn’t going to let him be) he gets in the truck, and is taken to an inn on the outskirts of a small Virginian town. It takes months before he really speaks, and even after opening up somewhat, Frank remains a bit of a mystery. Everyone knows him as Pete in this verse, as he wishes to leave behind the life of mayhem. Margie gives him tasks around the inn that keep him occupied, under the guise that that’s why he gets to stay for free, but everyone knows that's just how Margie is/was. She was always picking up strays, and trying to help people find their way. Eventually, Frank takes over the inn when Margie is too old, and he picks up where she left off.
Hunter (SPN/TVD/BTVS, etc):
Frank did not grow up as a hunter, but became a hunter through unfortunate events (like many others). - Frank grew up on a ranch in the southern part of Texas, with his parents. There, he helped take care of the animals, and the land. Of course there were stories of creatures that stalked the mountains and valleys, but Frank always chalked it up to being folklore. That is, until one night when he saw something for himself.
BLADE (SPN/TVD/BTVS, etc):
Hunting has a way of never ending well. For Frank, that meant becoming one of the things he hunted. Instead of turning to bloodlust and mass murder, he uses his newfound strengths to continue his hunt, taking down vampires whose only mission is to cause chaos. Frank's intense hatred for vampires stems from a story not unlike many others; vampires took someone he loved, and turned her into something she was never meant to be. Maria disappeared, but not before baring her teeth, stained with the blood of their innocent children. Frank's mission isn’t necessarily to find her, but to cause an extinction to the beings as a whole.
The Walking Dead:
V1 [Negan]: Frank was always good friends with his neighbor; when things went to shit, they stuck together. Over time as they lost people he saw the way he was changing, into this unstoppable force. Before he knew it, he was Negan’s trusted right hand man; as much as a man like Negan trusted. (When writing with Negans/TWD muses this would be discussed before going about a thread! I will never assume my muse has a relationship with yours!)
V2: After the loss of his family, Frank sticks to himself. If he sees another person, he’s quick to make himself scarce; his only mission is to take out as many walkers as he can before he, too, ends up dead. Most interactions in this version would probably be a result of him being injured or something along those lines.
The Last of us:
V1 [DOWN FEDRA]: Frank breaks from the military early on, but keeps his plans to himself. As things get more and more out of hand, he helps other soldiers break away from the establishment. Eventually, he and the other rebel soldiers make a break for it as FEDRA collapses. After the fall, he leads his group to the WLF, who he was in contact with during the rebellion. After joining the WLF, Frank works with their leaders to help train them in weaponry and self defense.
V2 [WLF]: Separate from above; Frank grew up in the WLF. In this verse he is aged 20-26, and is in charge of some excursions.
Southpaw:
In this verse Billy Russo is his manager. He looks at him like a friend, but Billy has one thing in mind: the bottom line. Frank is his best fighter, so he will always push him to fight more.
V1: This is an AU in which Frank did not meet Maria, and served less time in the military. He either quit after his first tour, or was discharged for one reason or another. (Can be plot dependent.) Frank picks up street fighting as a means to get by. He does not have kids in this verse.
V2: This follows the plotline of the movie, but with Frank’s military background. He does have his two kids in this verse. (This mainly is here for anyone who might be interested in writing things based more off of the movie plot as opposed to loosely based ideas.)
Hitman:
Whether or not Frank had or lost his family is plot dependant for this verse. He is much more comic book punisher in this verse, and works mostly for the elite as a hitman. He has a no questions asked policy.
