General Background (some details shift for verse, or individual interactions as needed.)

Faith Grew up fiercely independent, mostly because she had to. Her father died when she was very young. Most of her younger years, she spends living with her mom, or on the road in motels. Over time, she teaches herself how to fix things, and work on cars because she learns she's the only person she can rely on, and getting things fixed isn’t cheap.
As a teen, Faith often skips school, and eventually (in most verses) drops out. 

When she finds herself with free time, she spends it by the water, in whatever form she can get to. [Surfing, Base Jumping, and just swimming]. When it comes to substance abuse, Faith rarely knows her limits. In some verses, this will greatly affect her livelihood and relationships. She often finds herself hanging out with rough crowds but is usually on the outskirts of it- She hangs out for the parties and gets along well enough but usually doesn’t stick around for much more. In her adult life, she is rarely found sticking around the same place for long. She hustles people and works odd jobs for money. 

Being that her original verse has her as a slayer, I’d like to keep some aspects such as (a human version of) her physical capabilities; She took up kickboxing at a young age as a constructive way to deal with her stress and anger. During those classes, she also specialized in self-defense.  

Variant to General Background:

Faith began doing ballet and ice skating at a young age, showing great promise. Her parents were supportive, but a little bit harsh when it came to her performances as they did not come from money, and if she was to continue, she had to be the best to secure scholarships/a career. 

Demon.

It’s no secret how one becomes a demon; you make a deal, that, or you find yourself in hell because you lived an awful life. In Faith’s case, she made a deal. The deal was to save the life of her love, and partner. She was given 6 wonderful years with her before the dogs came.

The Last of Us / zombie apoc

(v1): When the world changes, people have to adapt. Faith was just 17 when the fungus made its first appearance. Through the chaos, she loses her family, and assumes they are dead. It’s not long before she finds herself joining a group called the Fireflies, trying to stop the government from forcing people to live in unbearable conditions. 

(V2): Faith is one of the fireflies that end up surviving Joel’s raid, joining the WLF shortly after. In the massacre, she lost both of her parents. 

(v3): Being born into a world where fungus is everywhere; it can, and will kill you on contact is not ideal. Faith is raised in a community that holds members of various rebel organizations that have fallen over time. Now a part of something bigger, The Washington Liberation Front is her home. Faith is used in patrols and scavenging missions. Her specialty is a sniper rifle and hand-to-hand combat.
