Externato Paulo VI

Our School - Externato Paulo VI, is a private Catholic school located in the centre of Braga, a city in the north of Portugal. Our school is an elementary school, which means that our students attend it until the 9th grade. After this, they must go on to a Secondary School where an important choice has to be made: their main vocational area. We have 450 pupils divided into Pre-school (3-5 years), Primary School (6-10), Second and Third cycles (11-15) and 30 teachers.

At our school, we can count on specialized teachers to motivate students and help them achieve the targets of the project, as well as English teachers to assist with the interaction between the partners. And, most importantly, the entire school community is ready to mobilize the logistics necessary, so that our students can reach a higher level and go further in their educational learning process.

Please note that we are a bilingual school, we use CLIL and we apply the multiple intelligences as a pedagogy in our classes. The multiple intelligences have strong implications in the learning and development of children as does the cooperative work method present in the way our classes function. Together with the English language, this methodology will help them achieve the aims of the project.
