The Comprehensive school 9° Cuoco – Schipa is placed in the center of the city of Naples, and is organized into four complexes with kindergarten, primary and low secondary; pupils attending are about 1100 up to 3 to 14 years.

School time is structured on different timetables for the various orders of school:

extended time 30 hours;

full time 40 hours;

pre-primary school is organized with a time 40 hours.

In primary school there is a high percentage of pupils who manifest difficulty to attend school and the phenomenon of scattering then school leaving significantly increases during the junior high school. The school use experiential learning and laboratorial way of teaching.

To fight dispersion and face the discomfort, the school participated and won in invitations to tender financed by the Ministry of education and the European Community with PON C1 and F3

The working group is all teachers, science, technology, Art and design.

The key persons of this project are;

Mrs Angela Longo . She is the headmaster of the school, has an master degree on Education Management, and responsible of the whole project. He is going to arrange meetings, control budget, organise the activities, make formal writings and follow the project process. He is also experienced in making projects and cooperations. He has been to Europe many times for projects.

Mrs Emilia De Angelis. She is a contact person of Erasmus+ project. She is an experienced I.T. teacher, She is going to make training courses for students. She is responsible of publishing activities in our school through school website and facebook group. She is also good at dealing with technological problems.

Mrs Rosalba Lo Cicero . She is an experienced English teacher and she will assist in the project Professor de angelis Coordinator to have a proper relationship with language partners the contact person of the project, responsible of communication among partners.

Mrs Patrizia Bellomo . She is an experienced Science teacher and she will work of the project.

Mrs Nunzia Sacco . She is an experienced technology teacher and she will work of the project.

In the past the I.C 9° Cuoco-Schipa was part of one Comenius projects, and one Erasmus + project. The first project "Europe's cultural wealth in legends, stone, and myths" helped the school to contact companies in the area and to intensify the relationship between the school and the companies. The second project called "More successful student with ICT" was useful to know the language of the new technologies and use them for the dissemination of knowledge between different cultures.

All the teachers that will be part of the new project have been a part of previous projects and thus have a great understanding of the topics. The combination of language teachers and science teachers as a team helps to deepen the understanding among students.
