Physical Cosmology

This research lines analyze physical effects in the thermal history of the Universe, like matter creation, viscous dynamics, inhomogeneities in the matter distribution and alternative paradigms to the Lambda-CDM Standard Model.

A significant effort is devoted to the implementation of the LTB spherically symmetric model in order to describe local deviations to the homogeneous background.

Finally, attention is focused on the possible theoretical and phenomenological explanations of the so-called Hubble Tension phenomenon.
