My current research focuses on the Philosophy of Physics, in particular the foundations of General Relativity and the ontology of spacetime.

I also work on Cosmology and on f(R) theories of modified gravity.

I graduated in Physics (BSc) at La Sapienza University of Rome under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Piacentini. In my thesis I studied the evidence for dark matter in Astrophysics and Cosmology.

After completing my BSc, I got my MSc in Astronomy and Astrophysics at La Sapienza University of Rome. I graduated under the supervision of Prof. Giovanni Montani with a thesis on Quantum Cosmology. In particular, I worked on a cosmological implementation of a f(R) theory of modified gravity in the Jordan frame, also dealing with the problem of time and the cosmological singularity in such a framework (https://doi.org/10.1088/1361-6382/ac7694).

Now, I am a PhD student in Philosophy at the Scuola Normale Superiore and I directed my research interest towards the foundations of physics.
