The qualification is suitable for all learners to help you better understand the sector and to support your career choices. It gives you the opportunity to:
● develop knowledge of the role and importance of customer service and the different ways in which customer service may be delivered
● develop knowledge of the requirements for working in a customer-facing job role, including the standards of professionalism, effective team working and the use of organisational procedures and practices in delivering customer service.
● achieve a nationally-recognised level 1 qualification.
This qualification is tutor-assessed via submission of a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Customer service. Following tutor assessment work will go through internal and external quality assurance process before certificates can be applied for.
