The qualification consists of 6 mandatory units and 13 optional units. The mandatory units will help you gain skills and knowledge in the following areas:

● Unit 05 Principles of working in a business environment

By completing the mandatory units you’ll gain knowledge of communication in a business environment and develop your understanding of health and safety in the workplace. You’ll know how to manage your own work and understand ways of managing and improving your personal performance and development as well as understanding the purpose and structure of business organisations. You’ll develop the skills and knowledge required to work with others in a business environment, such as meeting agreed deadlines, maintaining expected standards of performance, and treating others with courtesy and respect.
This qualification is designed for you if you work in a business administration role with a high degree of support and supervision. It's suitable if you are working, or looking to work, in a wide variety of sectors including NHS trusts, educational institutions, government departments, charities and the private sector. It’s useful if you work as part of a team and provide information and resources to others.
