Students can use a combination of AP and CE credits to earn an associates degree. About 60 credits are needed in total, 20 of which must be CE credits through Weber State University.

If a student know what they would like to major in once they begin college, earning an associates degree may be a good idea. Although, it should be noted that having an associates degree may not reduce the length of a bachelors degree by the full two years.
If a student does not know what they would like to major in once they begin college, earning a Certificate of Completion is recommended over earning an associates degree. This potentially gives students more opportunity for exploration in college before needing to choose a major. The Certificate of Completion is approximately 25-38 credit hours.
Many AP credits can be used to waive college general education requirements. Other AP credits will only be considered as elective credit hours. If you do not see a school you are interested in below, search for "(college/university name) ap credit" to find information.
To see how CE credits transfer to Salt Lake Community College, Snow College, Southern Utah University, University of Utah, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, Utah Tech University, or Weber State University use the Transfer Credit Search.
Other colleges or universities have a tool that can be used to show how a Concurrent Enrollment class transfers to their institution or they have information about transferring credit.
