EDTC 6321 Instructional design

This course uses an instructional systems design model to guide the student in systematically developing effective Instruction. Theoretical and practical issues in instructional systems design are examined. Other instructional design models are introduced. Lec. 3, Cr. 3.

Instructional Unit: This introductory lesson is designed to enable teachers to effectively define, classify and summarize characteristics of each of the four domains thereby enabling the application of skills gained within the context of peer evaluations and within teaching practices within the classroom environment, demonstrating an understanding of the domains in both theory and practice. The lesson and intents to enable teachers to engage in more insightful and constructive peer feedback, contributing to professional development of teachers in the international school setting.
