About the Directors

Jesse Collett

Company Theatre Director

Jesse Collett holds a degree in Theatre Education and a degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Northern Colorado. Jesse returned to Pomona as a teacher in the fall of 2015 after five years away. Jesse loves being in this community as an educator and director. Mr. Collett is thrilled to work with such passionate students in the Catwalk Theatre Company. Along with the mainstage shows, he is the director of "Improv 4203," the Company's improv comedy troupe. Jesse would like to thank the Pomona community at large for their commitment to the arts. Most recently he completed his work towards his Masters in Directing at Roosevelt University.

Gretchen Vosburgh

Company Theatre Instructor

Gretchen Vosburgh holds a degree in Drama and a degree in Educational Theatre from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Gretchen is originally from Colorado Springs where she grew up doing shows at the CS Fine Arts Center and CS Conservatory. Gretchen is thrilled to be returning to Colorado this Fall (2020) to join the Pomona Arts family. In addition to studying at NYU Gretchen has studied abroad at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has ties to the Hangar Theater Company in Ithaca, NY. Gretchen truly is a teaching artist who continues to be active in her field. She has had so many amazing mentors in her life and loves getting the chance to return the favor and foster growth in young artists. Gretchen could not be more excited to join a community that truly values the arts. She thanks you all for that support and encourages you to continue to uplift the arts.
