Anxiety is Orange is a script written by Lindsay Price that originally has no music in it. This vignette style play introduces us to numerous characters living in a world where colors aren't just what you wear they're who you are and emotions are as vivid as the colors connected to them. A show about finding connection with others and yourself. In the midst of our continued world wide pandemic the message of finding connection and confronting your internal struggles felt apropos. However, the Catwalk Theatre Company is known for our Spring musicals so after reaching out to the writer we were granted permission to work with some incredibly talented songwriters to turn this powerful story into one woven with songs. Thus we present to you Anxiety is Orange (The Musical: Some Assembly Required) with a script written by Lindsay Price and music by the students of the Catwalk Theater Company along with their mentors: Tucker Boggs, Elspeth Collard, Robert Edwards, Chad Gorn, Liv Rocklin and Sam Rosenblatt.
