General

Terry can edgeguard using PW, forward air, (neutral air into) BK and down air.

While he does get decent payoff for hitting those, missing usually means that you'll now be the one getting edge guarded without all of your recovery options.

Therefore edge guarding should be saved as a mix up to catch your opponent off guard.

Ledge slip can make it easier to cover low recoveries.

Forward air

Being essentially a sex kick it should be used as such.

The hitbox is aligned to Terry's extending leg and goes pretty far beyond his foot.

Neutral air

Neutral air is used as a quick option to cover horizontal recoveries.

On hit, it can be cancelled into BK which will kill very early.

You need to be careful not to misinput into PD as that can cost you a stock.

Down Air

It covers pretty much the same space as forward air, but is slower and less active. The spike hitbox is also really small, but hitting it will kill your opponent at almost any percent. It's also the most satisfying feeling ever.

You can use iRAR to space it facing the stage in order to catch people recovering low.

Back Air

This is really telegraphed, as you need to set it up with a Reverse Aerial Rush or a reversed aPW.

It does have a good hitbox, frame data and has decent kill power.

Using it from a ledge drop can be a good option though, as you can drift back on stage while doing it.

So you can still ledge trap if you miss. Example

PW

Aerial PW long lasting hitbox, disjoint and air stall make it a relatively safe tool to throw out. You can still extend with a double jump fadeback forward air if you miss. On hit, it sends at a decent angle and has pretty high base knock back, allowing it to kill when you hit it close to the side blast zones.

Its drawback is its poor priority with almost any hitbox being able to contest it.

BK

BK, like neutral air, is used to cover horizontal space. The hitbox is significantly bigger though, making it harder to contest.

You should be using the command input to get the iframes. Using Coil is recommended to avoid fastfall and PD misinputs.

If you are really confident, you can also use your double jump into clBK to cover more timings, then use chRT to recover.

Two Frames

Terry doesn’t have any reliable two frame options.

None of his grounded hitboxes extend much below the ledge. You'll have the best chance with a spaced DTilt or lPW.

Out of his aerials, forward air and down air can hit below the ledge, but timing those is usually not worth it.
