De gemeente Alhaurin, in de vallei aan de andere zijde van de Monte Calamorro, kent verschillende staddelen, die verspreid in de vallei liggen. De grootste zijn Alhaurin El Grande en Alhaurin de la Torre. 

Het zijn typische forenzensteden, waar veel Spanjaarden wonen die in Malaga werken. De prijen zijn er daardoor lager dan aan de kust.

The municipality of Alhaurin, in the valley on the other side of Monte Calamorro, consists of several districts scattered throughout the valley. The largest are Alhaurin El Grande and Alhaurin de la Torre.

They are typical commuter towns, home to many Spaniards who work in Malaga. Consequently, prices there are lower than on the coast.
