Useful Tools:
Translation: google translate
Translates any word from one language to another, i.e: latin to english, english to french and vice versa.
Encyclopedia: Wikipedia
Wikipedia is an online free-content encyclopedia project helping to create a world in which everyone can freely share in the sum of all knowledge.
As we mostly all know, we have many words that is spoken and written in the English language.
Many of us grew up with reciting latin every Sunday at church.
Such as 'in nomine Domine' which translate to "in the name of the lord".
Many of us had no clue what we were saying.
We recognise "per diem' means "by the day or daily".
Another one is 'quid pro quo' which means "something for something".
'Per ardua ad astra' as used in the RCAF motto till 1968 means "through adversity to the stars".
By going to to Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org) to find out more, or going to google translate to see what that word is in a different language enhances our knowledge.
Technology at it's best.
