Resource Coordinator 2020
Hello Everyone!
I have lived in the area for eighteen years. Ten years were spent in St. Francois Xavier and then we moved to Elie, where my husband, my seventeen year old daughter and our yellow lab, Woofy, have been for the last eight years. I also have a twenty one year old son who now lives in Churchill, MB and works seasonal for Parks Canada. He is a “polar bear” guard and maintenance worker in the summer and fall months and he loves it! That is another story for another time.
I haven’t met too many people outside of our own street area, so when this opportunity came my way I knew that was about to change. I am excited about meeting the seniors and families in the community. I believe the seniors are the foundation and are still an important part of the future no matter what age. My goal is to help seniors in all the areas we provide assistance and also help them feel respected and significant. I look forward to getting to know them in the near future.

Here is a little background about myself.
I was born and raised in Paraguay, South America in a Mennonite family. My mom’s family’s background is from Manitoba and they moved to Paraguay in 1927. My dad’s family came from Russia In 1930. I came to Canada in 2010 and love it here!
I moved to St. Eustache in October of 2019. I started cooking the supper meals in St. Eustache on Wednesdays and decided to apply to help out in Elie as well. The CSCSC hired me for both locations and I have been cooking since then.
I enjoy the fact that the seniors can enjoy a hot meal every day if they wish. I love to cook and host for people at home and I am fortunate I can also do that in my current job.
