Conduct research on a dual use technology that could be used to attack the U.S.
Be prepared to explain the technology’s capabilities and a scenario in which it could be used to exploit U.S. National Security Interests
Groups will provide a 3-5 minute summary of their findings
Break into groups of 2 or 3
Conduct research on emerging weapons & their capabilities
Draw a scenario on butcher block paper or whiteboard describing how the weapons could be used to exploit US National Security Interests
Be prepared to explain the scenario with the class
Break into 3 groups representing an adversary:
Iran
North Korea
Non-State Actors
Groups have 15 minutes to research & discuss events (natural disaster, infectious disease or demographic changes) that an enemy could exploit to harm the United States and/or its National Security Interests
Groups will present finding to the class with a visual aid (slide, video, whiteboard, butcher block, etc.)
