Be at least 18 years old by mid June (Junior Counselor positions are available for teens who are at least 16)

Enjoy working with children

Able to put campers first

Be safety conscious

Comfortable living in a rustic environment

Have a positive attitude and be willing to look silly

Be eligible to work in the US (We also hire international staff through agencies like Camp America)

Staff live in glen shelters and platform tents, that don't have electricity or air conditioning.

Expect to see bugs on a regular basis, and occasionally snakes and mice.

The majority are bathrooms are pit latrines, also know as "biffy" which stands for "bathroom in forest for you."

There is limited cell phone service and internet.
