Jo Cox (22 de Xuño de 1974 - 16 de Xuño de 2016) foi unha política británica do Partido Laborista, que representou á circunscripción de Batley & Spen (Yorkshire) entre 2015 e 2016, como membro do Parlamento Británico.
Estudiou Ciencias Sociais e Políticas no Pembroke College de Cambridge, onde se licienciou como Bachelor of Arts en 1995, e máis tarde estudiou na London School of Economics.
Traballou para Oxfam entre 2001 e 2009, e os seus encontros con grupos necesitados en Darfur e Afganistán influenciaron as súas ideas políticas.
Durante o seu breve período de tempo no Parlamento de Westminster reclamou máis axuda humanitaria para as víctimas da guerra civil de Siria, e convertiuse nunha defensora da busca dunha solución ó conflito.
O 16 de Xuño de 2016 foi asasinada en Birstall (Yorkshire do Oeste) por un home asociado a organizacións de extrema dereita, que lle asestou múltiples puñaladas e disparos.

She studied Social and Political Sciences at Pembroke College in Cambridge, where she graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in 1995, and later she studied at the London School of Economics.
She worked for Oxfam between 2001 and 2009, and her meetings with disadvantaged groups in Darfur and Afghanistan have influenced her political thinking.
During her brief period of time in the Westminster Parliament she claimed more humanitarian aid for the victims of the civil war in Syria, and she became an advocate of the search for a solution to the conflict.
On June 16, 2016, she was murdered in Birstall (West Yorkshire) by a man linked to far-right organizations, who shot her and stabbed her multiple times.
