FERIAL KHAN
Ferial Khan naceu en Biche, un pobo da bonita e soleada illa caribeña de Trinidad e Tobago. É autónoma e traballa no seu negocio familiar, unha tenda de comestibles no seu vecindario.
É unha grande defensora dos animais e rescatou a varios deles, coma Shrek, o seu moucho, ou Polly, un loro amazona de cabeza amarela ó que salvou dos cazadores furtivos hai anos. “Diría que o maior éxito na miña vida sería ter axudado ós animais, animais de tódolos tipos. Son unha activista polos animais, representante daqueles que non teñen voz. Axudarei ós animais para sempre mentras viva. Son a miña causa xa que me axudaron en momentos duros.”
Ademáis, actualmente Ferial está escribindo a súa primeira novela, que espera rematar o ano que vén.
Ferial Khan was born in Biche, a small town in the lovely and sunny Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. She is self employed and she works in her family business, a grocery store in her community.
She is a great advocate of animals and she rescued several of them, like Shrek, her barnowl, or Polly, a yellow-headed amazon parrot that she saved from poachers years ago. “I would say that the biggest achievement in my life would be helping animals, animals of all walks of life. I am an animal activist, ambassador for those who don't have a voice. I will forever help animals as long as I live. They are my cause for they have helped me through rough times.”
Besides, Ferial is currently writing her first novel, which she hopes to finish next year.
