Free at Last Leaders & Coalitions expansion

Full expansion : $57.99 (shipping costs not included)

Leader counters only : Cost $17.99 (shipping costs not included)

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: This is NOT a standalone game and here you CANNOT purchase Free at Last. This is instead a fan made expansion of the boardgame Free at Last designed by Ted Torgerson and Damon Stone and published by The Dietz Foundation in 2022.

This fan-made expansion introduces a reworked set of leader markers (1) in Free at Last. New leader markers improve the game experience thanks to a nice looking and more readable layout and for the presence of the pictures of all historical figures present in the game.

This expansion also includes several redesigned cards and, last but not least, a Solitaire play mode, suited by a well detailed Rule Book, a Play Book with an extended example of play, several card changes designed for the Solitaire player, and a comprehensive play aid mat.

This expansion introduces the following additions:

(1) IMPORTANT: This expansion includes the new set of Leader counters of Free at Last Leaders. So, if you are willing to purchase this expansion, do NOT add Free at Last Leaders to the order because it is already embedded in Free at Last Leaders & Coalitions. Otherwise, if you want to purchase only the new counters, you can order the Free at Last Leaders expansion, which requires a standalone set of additional rules for the COFO Secretaries and the D.O.J. Staff attorney (just a one page A4 downloadable PDF file); you will find everything in the expansion page: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/free-at-last-leaders.

About Free at Last

From the back of box and user's description:

Free at Last is a game for 2-6 players. Players take on the role of civil rights organizations (SNCC, CORE, etc) as they fight for equal rights and the end of segregation in the Deep South, circa 1960-1964. It is not about Washington, DC, but the efforts of the people on the spot, whether that is Claiborne Parish, Louisiana or Mobile, Alabama.

Free at Last is a card-driven game in which each card has a number (used to activate special individuals) and an event, but uniquely, the color of the number also matters and affects the type of project (voting rights, accommodations, school desegregation) that can be attempted.

Multiple-length versions can be played: 3 turns (ending with the Freedom Rides), 6 turns (ending with the March on Washington), or a 9 turn game covering this entire period in American history.
