The early Spitfires used a single needle 6A/450 Gauge with a scale in 1000 to 4000RPM in units of 100. Later Models used the 6A/1191 with a scale up to 5000RPM.
The RPM Gauge can use either the generic, motor behind panel, 3D printed dial gauge instrument that I have designed for the Spitfire Cockpit, or the simplified flat back plate gauge. I currently have a working instrument printed as a draft. There are a couple of minor modifications that I will make to improve the ease of assembly and to add a mount for an electrical connector.
