Bytes for Food Lab is a research group operating within the Department of Food Engineering at Trakya University, focusing on experimental and computational research aimed at the development of sustainable food systems.

Our experimental studies primarily concentrate on the production, purification, and characterization of plant-based proteins, as well as the valorization of food industry by-products into value-added components.

In our computational research, molecular-level modeling and simulation approaches are actively used as research tools to understand the structural and dynamic properties of food systems and materials.

By integrating experimental and computational approaches, Bytes 4 Food Lab provides a holistic research environment for the development of sustainable food components and the understanding of environmentally friendly production technologies.
