Mrs. ______, would you be willing to write me a customer testimonial?
Great!
It's really simple, 3 things:
How long you've owned your Cutco
What you think about the product / your experience
Would you recommend it to others/why?
then Your name / signature
Would you be willing to send that to me in an email? (Give customer your email address)
HOW TO UTILIZE CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS BEST PRACTICES
create a folder in your computer or google drive where you store all your testimonials
categorize them based on what they emphasize
make a spreadsheet if needed for what they have / are commenting on
bring up the testimonial in the relevant section of the demo (example-> video is talking about forever guarantee and you bring up 1-2 testimonials about how much your customer loves the guarantee or how they sent their cutco in for sharpening for the first time in 40 years...etc)
"let me tell you about ____(testimonial customers name)'s experience with cutco and the _____(section you're talking about)
"let me tell you why ____(customer) swears by the _____ set / knife.
"Do you see why she thinks it's crazy not to get the ____ set?"
ALWAYS ASK FOR TESTIMONIALS FROM CUTCO CUSTOMERS :D
Have customer take out every piece of Cutco they already own
Mrs. _______, since you already own Cutco it doesn’t make sense to buy a full set. Most Cutco owners either upgrade to their favorite set or pick out a few pieces to supplement what they already own. Either way, if you decide to add more Cutco to your collection, I’ll be able to give you the best deal possible...
We’re going to start by making your wish list. These aren’t necessarily things you are going to buy today, but as your rep I’ll be able to keep track of what you like for future reference.
Basically, if Cutco were FREE, what would you add to your set?!
In your notebook write: Mrs. _______’s Wish List
(have customer write their list down list too!)
1. Review current Cutco tools and uses for each. Ask questions!
2. Show other set options, starting with the Ultimate Set.
3. Highlight missing pieces and promote uses and value of each. Cut Food!
4. Promote Table Knives: “In a perfect world, how many Table Knives would you want; 8, 10, or 12?”
5. Have Customer take out a piece of paper to price out all of the items.
6. Don’t forget Block, Sharpener, and Cutting Boards.
7. "if I could get you a great deal, would you consider upgrading your Cutco set today?"
