I hope this message finds you doing well and staying safe this summer! I know it has been a while since you've heard from me, but I am currently a junior at University at Buffalo studying biochemistry and molecular biology with the goal of pursuing a career in biomedical engineering. I am also playing soccer and softball for the school and would not be where I am today without the foundation you helped to build. I wanted to email you and let you know that I have been working with a great new company to gain some communication skills and build my resume. I also have a few opportunities to win scholarships for school based on my performance, so I am working very hard to accomplish that!

My job is to put on a quick presentation to demonstrate some products and get your opinion on it. We represent a company called CUTCO, which is very well known for their kitchen cutlery, but also makes high quality gardening tools, baking supplies, and outdoor tools. It is all done virtually over zoom, so it is pretty simple and straightforward. Also, there is absolutely no obligation for you to buy anything from me because I get paid just to show it to you. Although if you are interested in anything, I would gladly help you to get the best deal possible.

We just started the largest competition of the summer campaign and I have set my goals pretty high, so I was hoping that I could schedule an appointment with you sometime this week.
