The project has recognized peace education as critical to handle rising social tensions, xenophobia, and populist reactions fuelled by complex global conflicts and crises. 

The activities described in this guidebook were implemented during the project. After enacting them with students, we reflected on how to improve them to serve their objectives more effectively and efficiently. After compiling them, we include them in this guidebook and distribute them to the educational community for utilization as Open Educational Resources.

Fellow teachers in secondary or higher education may implement these activities with their students to promote sustainable peace.
