This school is the result of the merger of two Catholic educational establishments with a strong history. It is created in 1882 by the Sisters Congregation of St Charles d'Angers. Founded in 1836 by Father Basile Moreau.
Today, the St Charles Ste Croix is a school group labeled Lycee des Metiers du Commerce, de la Comptabilite et de la Gestion, brings together, under the supervision of the Diocesan Directorate:
a nursery and primary school
a general, vocational and technological high school
and a higher educational centre (Preparatory Class for the Grandes Ecoles and a higher technician Certificates, Bachelor Degree"s) oriented towards business, management, IT and international affairs.
In the past, the high school welcomed St Exupery as a young student before the Second World War. He wrote the famous book called "' Le Petit Prince'".
St Charles Ste Croix is composed of five basements, the Administration, the Science (with laboratory), Literature, Campus and Primary School.
