The project centres on peace education as a vital theme, engaging four schools and an NGO to raise awareness among secondary and high school students about the significance of peaceful coexistence. In light of rising global conflicts, including insights from World War II and the Ukraine crisis, promoting peace is crucial.
The aims of this project include developing self-respect, encouraging honest emotional expression, supporting active listening, and teaching conflict resolution.
Students will learn to treat others with kindness, respect the environment, and confront violence in all its forms, while following the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The anticipated outcomes involve expanded knowledge across various disciplines, enhanced critical thinking and research skills, and a deeper understanding of the connections between violence and justice. Students will become engaged global citizens and acquire skills in peacebuilding and conflict prevention, benefiting those with fewer opportunities. The project aspires to provide participants with specialized knowledge and lifelong learning pathways in peace education.
