1. Who we are
ProMedia is operated by Brainify SMC Limited (“Brainify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). You can contact us at ceo.alihassan.2004@gmail.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use ProMedia, its connected services, or our support channels. Features and data handling may differ depending on your operating system, app version, device capabilities, and the services you choose.
2. Local media processing
ProMedia performs its core video, audio, image, and subtitle processing on your device. This includes editing, conversion, compression, trimming, combining files, applying effects, adjusting audio, and editing subtitles.
The app accesses files you select, import, share into it, or make available through an output folder. It may create working copies, previews, temporary files, transcripts, and finished outputs to complete your requested operations.
Supported on-device AI features also process content locally. Depending on your device and the feature, these may include transcription, captions, translation, narration using installed voices, face positioning for reframing, and image segmentation. Face and subject analysis supports editing functions. ProMedia does not use these features to establish a person’s identity or create a facial-identification database.
Local media processing does not mean that every part of the app works without an internet connection. Purchases, advertising, diagnostics, downloads, configuration checks, and optional hosted AI may communicate with external services.
3. Optional hosted AI
Certain features can use Google Gemini through our backend when you choose and authorize hosted processing.
Depending on the feature, information sent may include your editing instructions, selected filenames, file properties, relevant editing settings, previous editing-plan context, descriptions you provide, transcript excerpts, subtitle text, cue timings, language choices, and timing or word-position information. File properties may include media type, size, duration, dimensions, and whether audio is present.
These features include Counter editing instructions, Post text, Translate captions, chapter naming, and clip suggestions. The current hosted AI integration sends text and structured information rather than your original video, audio, or image files. Text derived from a file can still contain personal or confidential information.
The app identifies hosted processing and requests permission before sending the relevant content. You can withdraw permission for future requests in Settings under “What leaves the phone.” Withdrawal does not reverse processing that has already occurred.
We access Gemini through a billing-enabled API project. Under Google’s published terms for paid Gemini API services, Google does not use submitted prompts or responses to improve its products. Google may retain them for a limited period for safety, abuse prevention, and legal requirements. This is not a guarantee of zero retention. Further information is available in the Google Gemini API Terms.
Only submit information you are authorized to share. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in instructions, filenames, transcripts, or reports.
4. App identifiers and security
You do not need to enter a name or email address to use ProMedia’s local editing tools. However, connected services may use identifiers associated with your installation or activity.
Firebase Authentication can create an anonymous app user identifier. This identifier may be associated with your RevenueCat customer record to verify Pro access and apply hosted AI limits. It does not require a conventional login, but it can distinguish your activity from another user’s.
Firebase App Check and platform verification services, including Google Play Integrity and Apple App Attest where applicable, help verify requests and prevent abuse. Connected services also receive technical information necessary to handle requests, such as IP addresses, timestamps, app versions, and authentication or verification information.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple or Google processes payments made through its store. RevenueCat helps us verify purchases, restore access, manage subscriptions, and understand subscription activity.
Information processed may include customer identifiers, product identifiers, transaction or receipt information, purchase history, subscription status, and renewal or expiration dates. We do not receive your full payment-card details from these store purchases. Further information is available in RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
6. Advertising
The free Android and iOS versions may display Google AdMob advertisements. Pro access removes advertisements.
Google’s advertising SDK may collect IP addresses, advertising and other device identifiers, app and advertisement interactions, and diagnostic information. IP addresses may be used to estimate approximate location. This information supports advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention.
Advertising behavior depends on your region, consent choices, device settings, and the applicable advertising configuration. Where available, you can revisit “Ad privacy choices” in the app. You can also use your device’s advertising privacy controls.
On iOS, we request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the advertising identifier or permitting tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. If you decline, advertisements may still appear without tracking permission. You can change this permission in your device’s Settings.
Pro access removes advertisements. It does not disable purchase verification, security checks, or other connected services required for features you use. Further information is available in Google’s Mobile Ads Data Disclosures.
7. Diagnostics and configuration
The Android and iOS apps use Firebase Crashlytics to investigate crashes, errors, and unresponsive behavior. Reports may include installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, app versions, timestamps, stack traces, and technical error context.
Diagnostic context may include details associated with a failed operation. Crash reporting is not intended to upload your media files.
ProMedia also retrieves configuration, feature-availability, and update information. These requests expose ordinary connection information to the receiving service.
8. Information stored on your device
Depending on your use, ProMedia may store app preferences, language choices, output locations, naming settings, saved tool settings, presets, reusable editing chains, recent editing instructions, processing history, input and output filenames, operation results, output provenance, custom caption words, hosted AI permission choices, cached purchase status, downloaded models, working files, and temporary processing data.
Some outputs may contain metadata identifying the tool, processing method, or AI model used.
Removing a history entry does not necessarily delete its output files. Deleting a file does not necessarily remove related history. Files exported or shared outside ProMedia may remain with the destination you selected.
9. Downloads, imports, dictation, and sharing
Optional on-device models may be downloaded from their publishers or distribution services, including Hugging Face and Google-hosted model storage. Those services receive ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and the requested model file. Your media does not accompany a model download.
When you import a supported link, your device connects to the destination server and permitted redirect destinations. Those services receive the requested URL and ordinary connection information. Files selected through cloud storage providers are also subject to the provider’s practices. Selecting a file does not give ProMedia unrestricted access to your entire cloud account.
On supported Android devices, voice input may open the device’s speech-recognition service. ProMedia requests offline recognition, but the system provider may use online processing. The provider’s terms and privacy settings govern that recording and recognition.
When you share an output, the selected app or service receives the file and its included metadata. Its handling of that information is governed by its own practices.
10. Support and submitted reports
If you contact us, we receive your message, contact details, and any information or attachments you choose to provide.
Some in-app reports are submitted through our backend. These may contain your message, an excerpt you explicitly select, the relevant tool, and an operation reference. The app does not automatically attach your original media or full transcript to these reports.
Other report flows prepare an email containing details such as tool names, job references, dates, and output filenames. You can review the email before sending it.
11. How we use information
We use information to complete the processing and AI operations you request, remember settings, maintain local history, verify purchases, restore paid access, apply usage limits, prevent duplicate operations and abuse, provide advertisements, respect privacy choices, investigate failures, improve reliability, respond to support requests, meet legal obligations, and protect our services and users.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, consent where required, legitimate interests such as service security and reliability where permitted, and compliance with legal obligations.
Acceptance of the Terms of Service does not replace a separate consent required by law.
12. Who receives information
Information may be processed by Google and Firebase for AI processing, backend services, authentication, security verification, configuration, and Android and iOS diagnostics; RevenueCat for purchase and subscription management; Apple and Google for store payments, purchase restoration, and platform services; Google AdMob and applicable advertising partners for Android and iOS advertising; model publishers and file hosts for requested downloads and imports; and services you select for dictation, cloud storage, sharing, and support communications.
We may disclose information when required by law, when reasonably necessary to address fraud or security threats, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations.
ProMedia does not provide your media files or hosted AI request text to advertising SDKs for advertising purposes. Where advertising disclosures qualify as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, the relevant consent and opt-out requirements apply.
13. Retention
Local files and settings remain until removed, replaced, cleared, or deleted through the app or operating system. Temporary files may be cleaned during normal operation.
Hosted AI operation records are scheduled for deletion seven days after creation. These include operation identifiers, text fingerprints, model and configuration information, status, and timing, rather than saved prompts or generated answers in the operation database.
Hosted AI usage records are scheduled for deletion seven days after their latest update. Continued activity may extend this period.
Reports submitted through the hosted AI report service are scheduled for deletion thirty days after submission, unless removed earlier through the supported deletion control. Report rate-limit records are scheduled for deletion two days after their latest update.
Pending operation acknowledgements on your device are removed when settled or discarded as expired when subsequently processed by the app.
Google currently states that relevant Crashlytics data and associated identifiers are retained for ninety days before removal from live and backup systems begins. Further information is available in Firebase’s Privacy Information.
Authentication, purchase, support, and operational information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, restore purchases, address support or security matters, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Google AI processing records are handled according to the paid-service terms described above.
Scheduled deletion is asynchronous and does not guarantee removal at an exact hour. Exported files, independent copies, and backups may remain separately.
14. Your choices, deletion controls, and rights
You can use local features without authorizing hosted AI content processing, withdraw hosted AI permissions in Settings under “What leaves the phone,” delete submitted hosted AI reports using the supported in-app control, change available advertising and operating-system privacy settings, delete files and available history entries, remove downloaded models, and clear app data where supported.
You can remove locally stored app data through your device’s app settings. Exported files must be deleted separately from their saved locations. Clearing app data does not automatically delete server-side records.
The in-app AI report deletion feature removes submitted hosted AI reports and withdraws hosted AI permissions. It does not delete your authentication identity, purchase records, usage-limit records, separately emailed support messages, or information retained independently by Google.
ProMedia does not provide user registration or a general process for requesting deletion of all server-side data. Identifiers, purchase records, diagnostics, and service usage records remain subject to the retention practices described in this policy.
Uninstalling ProMedia does not automatically delete server records or cancel a subscription. Exported files and external backups may remain.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain advertising disclosures. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable law.
For privacy questions or to exercise rights available under applicable law, contact ceo.alihassan.2004@gmail.com. We may request proportionate information to identify the relevant records and verify your request. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
15. International processing and security
Connected service providers may process information outside Pakistan or your country of residence. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism.
We use measures such as encrypted network connections, authenticated requests, platform verification, and restricted access to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
16. Children
ProMedia is not directed to children under thirteen. A higher minimum age may apply under local law. Hosted AI features are intended for adults aged eighteen or older and are subject to applicable provider restrictions.
If you believe a child has provided information contrary to these requirements, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
17. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as features, services, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent where required.
For privacy questions or to exercise rights available under applicable law, contact Brainify SMC Limited at ceo.alihassan.2004@gmail.com.
