MP4 Converter is operated by BRAINIFY (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED (“Brainify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use our app.
Video conversion takes place on your device. The app also uses Google services for advertising and crash reporting, which may collect information as described below.
Your videos and local information
MP4 Converter accesses videos you select through the available Photos or Files controls. We do not upload your video content to our servers or to a conversion service.
The app stores information locally to provide its features, including:
Selected or imported video copies needed for processing and retrying conversions.
Converted video files.
Conversion history, file information, and conversion settings.
Saved presets, preferences, and advertising or promotion-related choices.
We do not provide your video content to Google’s advertising or crash-reporting services.
When you choose to share a file with another app or service, that destination handles the file under its own privacy practices. Files selected from cloud storage and device backups may also involve your chosen cloud provider, depending on your settings.
Advertising
MP4 Converter is supported by Google Mobile Ads. It may display banner, rewarded, and app-open advertisements.
Google’s advertising services may collect or process:
IP addresses, which can indicate approximate location.
Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier where permitted.
Information about advertisements displayed and your interactions with them.
App interactions, device information, performance information, and diagnostics.
This information may be used to deliver and personalize advertisements, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud, and improve Google’s services. Depending on your permission and consent choices, advertising may involve tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Our app does not request access to your precise GPS location.

Crash reporting
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, investigate errors, and improve reliability.
Crash reports may include device and operating-system information, app version, installation or session identifiers, crash times, technical error details, and diagnostic logs. We also record information such as the conversion stage, failure code, and selected conversion settings to help investigate problems.
These reports are separate from your video content.

Your advertising and privacy choices
Depending on your location and applicable requirements, the app may display advertising consent choices.
When available, open the app’s menu and select Privacy choices to review or change your advertising consent.
On iPhone and iPad, you can also manage tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking permission does not prevent you from converting videos. It does not necessarily stop all advertising or diagnostic information collection. Apple explains tracking controls here.
Information you send to support
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or attachments. We use this information to respond and investigate your request.
Please avoid sending private videos or other sensitive information unless necessary for your support request.
Sharing and processing information
We use Google Mobile Ads and Firebase Crashlytics for the purposes described in this policy. Support communications are also processed through the email service used to receive and answer your messages.
Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their handling of information is subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies.
If you open an advertisement, website, or another app’s listing—including a promotion for another Brainify app—the destination’s privacy policy applies to your activity there.
How long information is kept
Local files and app information remain on your device until removed through the app’s available controls, automatic temporary-file cleanup, or deletion of the app.
Conversion history and converted output files are managed separately. Deleting a history entry does not delete its converted output. Unneeded imported copies may remain until cleanup occurs.
Deleting the app does not delete files you previously exported, shared, or stored in another service, or copies retained in device backups.
Google states that Crashlytics retains crash information and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from its live and backup systems. Advertising information is retained according to Google’s applicable policies. Firebase retention details.
We retain support communications for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.
Contact us to make a request. We may need information to verify and locate the relevant records. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our app or information-handling practices change. We will publish the updated policy on this page and revise the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
