At the Farm

Bollinger Farms has planted a variety of Christmas trees including Scotch Pine which are ready for harvesting this season.  We also are planting White Pine, Canaan Fir and now Black Sea Fir as of 2023 with these varieties becoming available in the future for harvesting.  For 2025, plans have already been initiated and made for trying yet another fir tree variety, the Korean/Balsam Fir cross, which is a newer type grafted cross of the two tree varieties.  This new cross variety gives us the benefit of the positive features of both tree types which should make them more suitable and adaptable to our local climate and soil types that we have.  Additionally, each season we typically bring in some pre-cut varieties of Christmas trees as well for customers to have a full selection to choose from.  As to what specific varieties are ready for harvest or are brought in as pre-cuts in a given year, please check our list under the tab "Christmas Trees/Wreaths" and then click on "Tree Pricing".  You can also message us on our Facebook page (facebook.com/bollingerfarms.org) or give us a call to confirm what species we will have on hand and available to choose from.  Thank you for your interest and we look forward to answering any questions that you may have.
