Giving Back
In 2021, Bollinger Farms began with a first year soft opening and "Sneak Peek" sales, but we also started something that year which we feel very strongly about, community giving and patron appreciation. This was done in a couple of different ways, one of which was and still is directly related to purchases you make on designated days as a percentage of each sale made becomes a local charity donation we make to help families in need. We plan to continue making these annual charitable contributions, as well as offering our patron appreciation discounts. God has blessed us personally and we wish to spread His word and share His many blessings with others.
To recognize the dedication and service provided by individuals to our community and nation, we offer "Appreciation Days" with a discount on all purchases on those days. Starting in 2023, we doubled our appreciation discounts and we now have "Twenty% off Thursday's". These scheduled event days are done to recognize the work and sacrifices made by groups including Veterans/Military service members, Emergency Personnel, Senior Citizens (65+), Teachers and Nurses. We are truly appreciative of all the many sacrifices that have been made and the dedication that has been provided by these individuals, both past and present. We wish to recognize these servant minded heroes by offering our "Appreciation Days" and extending to them this small token of our appreciation for all they do and have done over the years! Simply present your related valid ID when checking out on these special days for your discount! Thank you for your dedication and service!
Also, starting in 2022, Bollinger Farms began participating annually in the "Trees for Troops" (T4T) initiative which provides FREE real Christmas trees to military members and their families. Through this initiative which began in 2005, a total of 347,390 trees have been donated so far. To do our part to support this great cause, Bollinger Farms has sold "Trees for Troops Bears" from which a portion of our purchase cost is directly donated to the troops. Then to further show our support, Bollinger Farms will donate 100% of the profit(s) made from every T4T bear purchased. Lastly, Bollinger Farms also accepts donations to help fund this worthwhile project. WE HAVE GREAT ADMIRATION AND RESPECT FOR OUR SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN AS WELL AS THEIR FAMILIES. Starting in 2023, another important cause that Bollinger Farms supports financially is the local Southeast Missouri Family Violence Council Center. This program focuses on supporting individuals and families that have been negatively impacted by family violence and abuse situations. Bollinger Farms coordinates our Santa Day event with specific fundraising efforts to financially help support these individuals and families. Our farm commits to donating 10% of the entire sales from this day, in addition to collecting tips and donations. These funds go to this cause which is near and dear to the heart of our fabulous Santa Claus at Bollinger Farms. We are humbly pleased to be able to help coordinate and provide this financial support!
