Additional Notes:
Our farm was co-featured in a published article in the Kansas City Star newspaper on December 24, 2015. We were a startup farm then and began emphasizing our theme of "We're keeping Christ in Christmas!".
Bollinger Farms was blessed to be recognized by the Missouri Grown USA organization as their featured farm for the entire state of Missouri on December 6, 2021.
Troy Bollinger of the family farm was elected as the Missouri State Vice-President for the Missouri Christmas Tree Association (MCTA) serving in the role from 2022-2024.
Bollinger Farms began branching out to having more student involvement as we were thrilled to host our first school field trip on December 6, 2022, with a group of 40(+) high school students in the Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) program at West St. Francois County Schools that visited our farm. That trend continues today and in addition to West St. Francois County, school field trip visits from Bismarck, Farmington and Classical Conversations Homeschool have blessed our farm.
Beginning in 2021, Bollinger Farms developed our farm's 1st personal Christmas ornament. We are called and desire to honor God with this farm so in 2022, we began to incorporate scripturally based annual Christmas ornaments for our farm. We personally design these ornaments each year through much prayer before being forwarded to our producer. We are blessed and pleased to have regularly had many of these ornaments highlighted in national brochure publications. As we continue to serve our Lord, featured scriptures for these ornaments have included:
2022 - Isaiah 9:6 ..."for unto us a child is born",
2023 - Luke 2:12 ..."and this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger"
2024 - Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest..."
2025 - Romans 14:11 ..."every knee shall bow..."
Troy Bollinger of the family farm was honored to serve as the State President of the Missouri Christmas Tree Association (MCTA) for 2024-2026.
On Nov. 2, 2024 Bollinger Farms hosted our 1st Annual Craft Fair. This is now an annual event held each year on the first Saturday in November. Vendors can register annually on our website and/or Facebook page.
Bollinger Farms was featured in a Dec. 20, 2025 Southeast Missourian newspaper article. The Cape Girardeau, Missouri newspaper emphasized the "unique holiday experience" found at Bollinger Farms and our "We're Keeping Christ in Christmas" theme, along with a traditional Christmas family friendly atmosphere.
