Members register visitors when they confirmed they are attending the meeting or indicated they will come.
A member of the visitor team keeps track of who actually attended, who invited them and if they are a BNI member or not during the meeting.
A member of the visitor team marks the visitors as attended in BNI Connect and adds visitors that are not registered. Try to remember to unselect the send email option on BNI members.
The VP then does their part with meeting management and enters the PALMS report. They say yes to the visitors to add them to the PALMS report. Chapter Operations - Entering PALMS Reports – BNI Connect & BNI University Support - How Can We Help You?
VP's on the PALMS report say Yes to the actual visitors and NO (if any slip through the process) to visitors who are a BNI member or are actuallty a guest.
Things to note
Only FIRST TIME VISITORS will be passed to the PALMS for VP approval for visitor credit when marking visitors as attended.
If enabled, you can search cross chapter to select the person who invited them. Note that that person will not get PALMS credit for a cross chapter visit, however it will be useful in determining a sponsor if the visitor becomes a member later.
