This is a short (basically 2-3 hour) seminar (given within a CFD course) introducing some concepts of kinetic mechanisms (methane/natural gas mechanisms are discussed), detailed and approximations, and some description of chemical structures pertaining to higher hydrocarbon mechanisms.
