WHAT IS THE SCHEME?

A scheme is in operation in Blakesley which is a community activity designed to promote security awareness and to give information about current crime trends. The aim is to reduce the incidence of house burglaries, car thefts and property damage in general, while not wishing to spoil the freedom and quality of village life enjoyed by Blakesley residents.

The number of residents in the scheme is important, since its strength lies in good communication. There is no cost for joining, nor is there a requirement to do anything: quite simply, membership is critical to the scheme's success.
