New Ulm Prairie School #15
1865-1925
The school was a one room one teacher school located approximately two miles east of New Ulm off FM 109. Records indicate that John Find and others petitioned the Austin County Judge for a school community and for public funds. County Judge Bell granted the petition on July 20, 1880. The school received $152.00 based on the enrollment of 51 students. In 1925, it consolidated with Post Oak Point to form Henkhaus School District #9
