Standing next to Kermit is W.C. Morris, Bellville Ag teacher.  Mr. Morris left the next year and moved to Woodsboro.  Wayne Volkman came to replace Mr. Morris.

The other gentleman is Kern Tipps from the University of Texas who sponsored him through the Rotary Club.
