I am the ASES PRIDE Site Director at Willmore Elementary. I have worked at the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster for 8 years and could not imagine a more rewarding job.
As a kid, I loved singing, dancing, reading and playing soccer. I was also involved in musical theater and my favorite role that I played was Maria in The Sound of Music. I always wanted to perform on Broadway!
I received my Bachelors Degree in Social Work so that I could serve youth and families in the community. I got the opportunity to teach English in Italy for a Summer and have also traveled to Africa, Mexico, France & Switzerland.
Some fun facts about me are that I love cactus, the Dodgers, the Raiders, and the beach. I have 2 dogs: Chiko and Chica, (Mordy and Blueberry, but I never call them that) and I love anything turquoise.
If you could be any animal what would you be and why? I would be an otter or a dolphin because they both love to play and swim in water!
If you could be any fruit what fruit would you be? I would be a pineapple with tajin because they are delicious!
Where is somewhere you would like to visit and why? I would love to visit Greece because it is a beautiful country with a lot of history. I would enjoy the ocean views and the food.

I have been with ASES pride for about 3 years now. Before being here with all of you guys, I was teaching English as a foreign language in Argentina. When I was younger I loved drawing, singing, and playing tether ball! I also wanted to be a second grade teacher. Now that I’m a little older, I still love drawing and singing (in the car )! I’m not quite a teacher now but I love working here with all of you guys. A little fun fact about me is that I have 4 dogs! Koopa, Grizz, Veda, and Lupe. One day we are going to travel all over America together in a big van!
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a pug because they have soft ears.
If you could be any fruit, what fruit would you be?
I would be a mango because they’re delicious and taste great with literally everything .
Where is somewhere you would like to visit and why?
I would love to go all over the continent of Asia to learn about all the different cultures, religions, and try all the amazing food.

Hello I'm Veronica, and I would like to tell you a little about myself. I've been working with kids since 2011 and been enjoying every minute of it. When I was younger I wasn't very social. I was very shy and as the years went on I started opening up and building confidence. That has helped me become who I am today! I'm a mother of 3 with confidence. A fun fact about myself is that I love doing wood work projects and building things.
If you could be any animal what would you be and why? If I could be any animal I would want to be a bird. I would choose a bird because I could be free, travel, fly around the world and just soar through the clouds.
If you could be any fruit what fruit would you be? I would like to be a watermelon.
Where is somewhere you would like to visit and why? I would love to go visit Hawaii just because I've never traveled anywhere like that and I see all the great videos and pictures of the ocean on how clear the sea is.

I have been grateful for the varied opportunities I have had in working with children. I have been a assistant music teacher and have had students perform at Disneyland and at a conference in Texas. I have been a volunteer in several elementary schools including Willmore Elementary and currently have been working for the Boys and Girls Club for the last four years. After graduating from California State University, Fullerton with my Bachelors, I want to eventually go into the Multiple Subject Credential Program to become an elementary teacher or pursue getting my masters.
If you could be any animal what would you be and why? I would want to be a Llama because I think they are adorable.
If you could be any fruit what fruit would you be? Strawberries because I think it is so awesome how strawberries are a great healthy snack but can also make a great dessert by just adding some chocolate.
Where is somewhere you would like to visit and why? Everywhere! But I would love to visit Ireland, it has beautiful landscapes.

My Name is Kyle David Justinian Kawika Charles Wells. I am a Father, Musician, Writer, Medical Assistant, YDP (youth Development Professional) and former Outdoor Science school Teacher. I am very outgoing and have a lot of energy. Before Working with the Orange County Department of Education in the Outdoor Science School world, I was a counselor at a summer camp for people with disabilities ranging from age 10-75 years old. After working there for 2 summers I was hired at OCDE for their Outdoor Education Program. There I worked with 5th and 6th grade students in a safe outdoor environment teaching Ecology, Geology, Wildlife Biology and Astronomy. After my first year, there were 7,500 students who came through the camp and I loved every moment of it. After 2 1/2 years I decided to go to medical assisting school so I could better help kids and kids with disabilities and also have the proper training for medical conditions behind me.
A life goal of mine is to get my graphic novel published and watch my son grow up to a be great man.
If you could be any animal what would you be and why? A panda bear because not only do I get to lounge around all day and eat bamboo, I am still a bear!
If you could be any fruit what fruit would you be? I would be Lychee fruit
Where is somewhere you would like to visit and why? I would like to visit Basque its a place on the border between France and Spain, my moms side of the family are from there and would like to visit the family homeland.
