As part of demonstrating ACTE Standard 12: Program Management, I developed a comprehensive chapter handbook to support the organization and success of the agricultural education program. This resource was designed to clearly outline expectations, opportunities, and procedures so students can navigate their involvement in FFA with confidence. A major purpose of the handbook is to create consistency within the program. It brings together key information such as participation expectations, leadership opportunities, degree requirements, and involvement in events and SAEs, ensuring that all members are held to the same standards. This structure helps students stay organized while also encouraging accountability and responsibility.
The handbook also serves as a communication tool, connecting students, parents, and advisors. By providing one central resource, it promotes transparency and helps all stakeholders better understand the goals and expectations of the program. This artifact demonstrates my ability to manage and organize a robust agricultural education program by establishing clear systems, promoting student leadership, and cultivating a well-structured and informed chapter environment.
