As an online testing tool, Quizizz has a wide range of activities and assessments that any educator can use. The site is free and includes ready-created quizzes for any subject and content. You can also create assessments, which allows one to be more specific with the presented content. Quizizz is compatible with Google Classroom so it allows teachers to assign quizzes as homework through a familiar platform. However, teachers can also do live testing sessions with two different options. The classic option allows students to go at their own pace and includes a leaderboard and ranking as they test. The Instructor-Paced setting allows the quiz to be lead by the teacher and students go through each question together. In this option, the teacher can create a live whiteboard where they or the students can draw from their device and present how they answered that question and give a chance to review the content more specifically. The teacher then can present individual screens in this setting. With the already-created assessments and the option to create your own quiz, Quizizz affordances allow for the integration of a fun assessment tool into one's teaching.

Like all things on the internet, they don't always work perfectly. While on Quizizz, on my personal laptop, the site lagged at certain times. Though there are so many options for pre-made quizzes and activities, the amount is overwhelming which proved difficult with trying to find the right one. Making your own quiz is great, but it does take some time. In this aspect, in order for the quiz to be engaging and run smoothly, the teacher needs to put in a fair amount of time to create their own assessment. When compared to standard paper and pencil quizzes, teachers might find that an easier way to assess students' abilities. The time factor within this tool can be a constraint, even with an already pre-made quiz. As stated before, it might be easier to review on paper or do an informal assessment without Quizizz because of the time it might take students, especially elementary-aged kids, to type in the website and enter the code. Time is a valuable thing within the elementary classroom and as an elementary teacher, it is difficult to find enough time to teach a student a whole new tool and implement it without taking up too much time.
