Beyond the Books Padlet

This online collaboration tool, Padlet, allows for interaction with peers. Students can discuss questions, create mind maps for brainstorming, or inform others on a certain topic. This site is very simple and allows for sharing with just a simple link. To add to an already created Padlet, the owner only has to share a link for others to join in. This tool allows you to upload files of most types, along with embedding content from multiple online sources. From feedback to collaboration, Padlet is a great tool for all learners to use.
Like many online resources, Padlet constraints are due to a paywall. The free version only allows for 3 Padlets, while the other premium features allow for my creations and other fun added amenities. In the free version of Padlet, the graphics tend not to be as visually pleasing as other collaboration sites like Canva. Though this may not be a needed aspect of an online tool, the visibility and how it is presented can be a constraint with some visual types of learners. More colorful and intricate tech tools tend to be more engaging to learners.
