The story follows on from "Weed Killers", which concerns the death of a police officer on duty at the hands of a vicious drug dealing gang, and "Lost in Lockdown", which follows PC Kenny Hughes' parents into the next stage of their grief (compounded by the COVID-19 Lockdown which prevents his killers being brought to trial for many months). "Victim Statements" takes us up to the anniversary of Kenny's death, the first Christmas without him, and finally to the long-awaited trial.
